Respiratory Management

BARD is a global leader in the prevention of serious complications and infections in the acute care environment.  BARD’s Respiratory Management offerings include products that support and treat conditions or the respiratory system.

Areas of focus include:
Ventilator Associated Pneumonia Reduction - The AGENTO® I.C. silver-coated endotracheal tube (ETT) is a scientifically proven, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) preventive device for patients at risk of intubation for 24 hours or longer that minimizes user dependence.

Secretion Removal - We offer an extensive line of suction catheters and kits. Suction catheters are flexible, long tubes used to remove respiratory secretions from the airway. The purpose of suctioning is to keep the airway clear of secretions and to prevent plugging.

Specimen Collection - We offer mucous specimen traps which provide easy and convenient collection of mucous specimen samples.

Our dedicated focus is on equipping healthcare professionals with the products, training and resources they need to provide the best possible care. BARD’s mission is to be a vital partner with healthcare professionals by delivering essential products and services that provide effective clinical solutions to benefit patients by giving positive, measurable outcomes.
