Foley Tray Configurations


Bard ® Foley Trays are available in multiple configurations. All Bard® Foley trays include a Foley catheter. Some include a drain bag, urine meter and/or prepping components. Bard® Foley trays are offered with the following features:

  • The Bard® EZ-Lok® Sampling Port (figure 1) allows for needle-free aspiration and is the primary prevention for eliminating the risk of needlestick injury during urine sampling.

  • The Bard® Tamper-Evident Seal (figure 2) secures the Foley catheter-drainage tubing junction. This feature has the proven potential to reduce urinary tract infections.

  • The Bard® Microbicidal Outlet Tube (figure 3) protects the drain bag from contamination resulting from retrograde bacterial migration.

  • Uro-Prep™ Tray (figure 4) includes: drape, underpad, powder-free, latex-free exam gloves, forceps, rayon balls, prefilled inflation syringe, lubricant, Povidone-Iodine solution, specimen container, and label.

Add-A-Foley Trays include the Uro-Prep™ tray and either a drainage bag or urine meter but does not include a Foley catheter.

Universal Trays are available in a variety of configurations, most containing the Uro-Prep™ tray and Foley catheter.
